Tell Your True Life Story to founder and renowned author, Erica Manfred
As a journalist for 35 years for websites, magazines and newspapers I’ve interviewed hundreds of people. My articles and essays have appeared in the Village Voice, the New York Times, New Age Journal, Cosmopolitan, Salon, the Atlantic, Ladies Home Journal and many others. As a contributing writer at Bottom Line/Personal, and Seniorplanet.org. I’ve interviewed both celebrities and ordinary people.
I’ve written a number of books, including He’s History You’re Not; Surviving Divorce after Forty It has become a classic in the field of divorce.
I started my career in ghostwriting by co-authoring a memoir about a haunted house, The Demon of Brownsville Road.
I recently wrote Macro Man the life story of a local retired dentist whose family wanted the story of his life in book form to distribute at his 100th birthday party.
My own memoir: I’m Old So Why Aren’t I Wise has just been published.
I hope you’ll give me the opportunity to tell your story

Erica has the ability to cut through to the “heart” of a story, stripping away irrelevant details that can bog-down a narrative and bore a reader. She has a flair with words that can likewise enhance and polish literary works making them much more appealing and attractive. The book proposal she compiled for me captured the attention of a major agent which eventually led to a publishing contract. — Bob Cranmer, author The Demon of Brownsville Road, published by Random House in 2014.
“This book (Macro Man) never would have happened without Erica” —Mark Fishman
